How does the Video Tagging/Coding module work?
You load a match video, pick or build a tag template, then create “events” by clicking primary-category buttons; add secondary labels; filter events; and export the data. Each event can hold one primary category plus multiple labels.
Can I build my own coding windows?
Yes. SPAN lets you create any number of coding windows (or tagging templates) to match the terminology of any sport or coaching philosophy. Template management sits inside the Tagger workflow.
Can I manage my team rosters and tournaments on SPAN?
Yes, SPAN lets you administer tournaments, setup teams, player rosters, schedule matches, track scores and keep season records in one place.
Is SPAN suitable for multiple sports?
Yes. Because tag templates, labels and match-tracker entities are fully customisable, you can adapt SPAN to football, squash, badminton—or any sport with video.
What export options are available for tagged data?
From Tagger you can download two CSV files (events & tags) or an XML file compatible with Hudl Sportscode. XML export is available to paid plans.
Does SPAN give me interactive dashboards?
After tagging you can launch video-linked dashboards or charts that jump straight to every event clip, and you can privately share them with colleagues or athletes.
What can I do in the Video Creator module?
Record voice-over or coach-on-camera breakdowns, add AI-assisted telestrations, use stutter mode, zoom, and save new clips—all without leaving the browser.
Do I need special hardware or software?
No local installation is required; SPAN runs entirely in a web browser. All you need is an internet connection and your match video files.
Can I collaborate with my staff or players?
Organisations can invite users, assign permissions and work simultaneously on the same folders, videos and tag templates.
